This ring was built from the ground up — no casting, no shortcuts. Starting from raw ingot silver, every element was hand forged, fabricated, and stamped by R. Wilson in the Mountains of Western North Carolina. What you're holding is 26.20 grams of solid sterling silver and one irreplaceable stone.
The Stone
Golden Hills Turquoise — sold to me as natural, untreated stone. The matrix runs deep copper and brown through an electric sky-blue field. No two stones from this mine are alike, and this one is exceptional: bold color, strong matrix, and a domed profile that commands attention on the hand.
The Construction
The bezel is fabricated by hand, edge stamping, claw prongs, open back, set directly against the stone with no filler. The shank is adorned with fan and shell motifs on both sides. A thunderbird stamp marks the interior of the band. The hallmark R STERLING W is stamped on the shank end. This is not a production piece. It is a document of craft.
